Website Management Services in Nepal

Very few websites are neglected on purpose. A business launches something it is proud of, the team gets busy with actual work, and two years later the price list is out of date, the contact page shows a number nobody answers, and the CMS is several versions behind. Website management is the ongoing work that keeps that from happening.

We look after websites for schools, hospitals, hotels, trading firms and travel agencies across Kathmandu Valley and further afield. Some of them we built ourselves. Plenty of them we inherited from a developer who moved on or a team that never had time to maintain it. Either way the job is the same: keep the site online, keep it secure, and keep the information on it true.

What website management covers

A monthly plan with us is not a vague retainer. These are the specific things we do.

Core, plugin and theme updates

Applied on a staging copy first where the site is complex enough to warrant it, so an update never takes your live pages down.

Security and malware removal

We watch for file changes and injected spam, and clean it up when something gets through.

Off-server backups

Daily or weekly depending on how often your content changes, stored away from the hosting account so a server failure cannot take the backups with it.

Uptime monitoring

We find out the site is down before your customers phone you about it.

Content updates

New prices, notices, staff changes, photos, blog posts, a fresh PDF on the downloads page. You send it, we publish it.

Domain, hosting and SSL

Renewal dates tracked and flagged before they expire, so the site never goes dark over a missed invoice.

Speed and Core Web Vitals

Image sizes, caching, and the scripts that slow a page down without anyone noticing.

Broken links and small fixes

Forms that stopped sending email, a layout that broke on mobile, a page returning an error.

A monthly summary

What was updated, what broke, what we fixed, and what we think deserves attention next.

Why this matters more here than people assume

Nepali businesses tend to treat a website as a one-time purchase, and the cost of that shows up in ways that are easy to miss. A school that forgets to update its admission notice loses enquiries during the few weeks of the year when parents are actually searching. A hotel running last season's tariff has to argue with guests at the front desk. A trading firm whose SSL certificate quietly expired watches Chrome show every visitor a red warning page.

There is a technical side to it too. Payment gateways like eSewa and Khalti change their integration requirements. Hosting providers move servers and upgrade PHP versions, which can break an older site overnight. Google shifts what it measures. None of this announces itself politely, and somebody has to be watching.

How we work

  1. We start with an audit

Before quoting anything we look at how the site is built, what it runs on, whether backups exist, and whether it has already been compromised. That tells us what the work will actually involve rather than what we assume it might.

  2. You get a fixed plan and a named contact

You are not explaining your site from scratch to whoever picks up the phone. Requests come in by email, phone or WhatsApp. Small content changes are handled quickly; anything larger gets scoped and quoted before we start, so nothing appears on an invoice you did not agree to.

  3. You are never locked in

Plans run month to month. If you hire a developer in-house later, we hand over every credential, backup and note we hold.

Who this suits

  • Organisations with a website but no in-house developer to look after it.
  • Businesses whose original developer has stopped responding or closed shop.
  • Teams that need content changed the same week, not the next quarter.
  • Anyone who has been hacked once and does not intend to repeat the experience.

Common questions

Do you manage websites you did not build?
Yes, and a good share of what we look after falls into that category. The audit at the start exists precisely so we understand an unfamiliar codebase before we touch it.
What if my site is already hacked?
We clean the infection, close whatever allowed it in, and request a review if Google has flagged the site. Recovery is quoted separately from the monthly plan because the scope varies enormously between cases.
Is this WordPress only?
No. We manage WordPress alongside custom applications built on Laravel, PHP and similar stacks, which is what our development team works in daily.
Will you handle domain and hosting renewals?
Yes. We track renewal dates for your domain, hosting and SSL certificate and remind you before they lapse.
What does it cost?
It depends on the size of the site, how often the content changes and what shape it is in when we take it over. Send us the URL and we will come back with a figure rather than a range.

Not sure what shape your site is in?

If your website has been sitting untouched for a while, the audit is a sensible place to start. Tell us the address and we will come back with an honest assessment of what it needs.
